Reinforcement mesh is an essential element when applying adhesive layers, especially in plastering, rendering, or external insulation systems. The mesh distributes tension evenly across the surface and prevents cracks caused by shrinkage, structural movement, or temperature changes.

By embedding the mesh into the adhesive layer, you increase both strength and flexibility, ensuring a longer-lasting and more durable finish.

  1. Apply the first layer of adhesive evenly on the surface using a notched trowel.

  2. Embed the mesh into the fresh adhesive, pressing it in so it is fully covered and flat.

  3. Overlap the edges of the mesh by at least 10 cm to avoid weak points.

  4. Apply a second thin layer of adhesive over the mesh to fully integrate it into the system.

  5. Once dry, the surface will be reinforced and ready for the finishing layer.
